Passing Grade

A Bar examinee is generally deemed to have passed if he/she obtains a general average of at least 75% as total weighted score. This score is computed using each subject’s relative weight and the examinee’s raw score as a percentage of the maximum possible score.

The Supreme Court (En Banc) has discretion to make adjustments to the passing percentage, as it did in some previous Bar Examinations (e.g., adjustments from 75% to 74% in certain years; and lower thresholds in earlier years).
